The bottle may have a pouring lip 4 and a concave annular depression 5 in the upper surface of the bottle body immediately below the neck 2 serves to retain drips. In a modification the bottle body is in two parts, a main portion and a neck portion, the neck portion and cap being of different material from the material of the main portion of the bottle.
