Abstract

817,445. Containers and closures therefor; stackable containers. PAPER CAP MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. April 30, 1957 [Jan. 30 1956], No. 2907/56. Classes 66 and 125(3). A container formed by injection moulding from polystyrene has a body 1, nestable within a similar container but formed with a step 3 to prevent wedging one within the other, and an annular flange 2 with a groove carrying an annular sealing ring 4 of synthetic rubber projecting above the container rim, the container being closed by an aluminium foil or like thin metal cap 5 with annular groove 7 and its peripheral portion 6 turned beneath the flange 2.
