Abstract

551,139. Condensers. INGRAM, Sir H. Dec. 8, 1941, No. 15810. [Class 37] The component parts of a condenser are made of materials such as will stand high temperatures and the condenser is embodied within an outer covering of a micaceous vitreous insulating material. The electrodes, which project from both ends may be curled up and secured together as shown at g, h, and terminals attached by drilling through the covering and inserting screws i. Alternatively terminal strips secured to the electrode ends may project at each end. The process of covering under heat and pressure may be simultaneous with that of the formation of the micaceous material from its ingredients. Specifications 333,240, [Class 87 (ii)], 432,424 and 532,824, [both in Group V], are referred to.
