690,364. Electric condensers. CORNING GLASS WORKS. Aug. 24, 1951 [Jan. 10, 1951], No. 20017/51. Class 37. An electric condenser comprises glass plates 11, 13, 15, interleaved with metal electrodes 12, 14 which protrude at opposite ends and have leads 17 connected thereto, the whole being enclosed between cover-plates 19 with beaded edges 20; the assembly is heated under pressure to form a unitary mass, and is divided into separate condensers as desired. The leads 17 thus emerge through smoothly-rounded apertures and danger of fracture is reduced.
