[Class 75 (iii)] A " match " for use in a smoker's petrol lighter con sists of a hand cast steel pin 18 mounted in a holder 13 of plastic material and surrounded by a wick 19 secured by a metal clip 20, the periphery of the pin being formed with stright, helical or wavy acute-angled serrations 23. The petrol reservoir 11 forming the lighter casing is provided preferably on its upper surface with a flint 15 on which the match is struck The flint may be embodied or moulded into the material of the casing. Flanges 16 may be provided at the sides and steps 17 at the ends of the flint. The holder 13 fits in a tapered bore 12 in the casing.
