549,943. Wall and ceiling coverings. ANDERSON & SONS, Ltd., C. F., and DUNKERLEY, V. Oct. 15, 1941, No. 13270. [Class 20 (iv)] Beams 9 supporting wall boards are secured to purlins or other part of a structure by brackets 7 with stamped out tongues 6 which are passed through holes in the webs of the beams and clinched over. Similarly a splicing plate 16 connecting to beam lengths is secured by tongues passed through holes in the beam and bent over. The tongues may be stamped out from the webs and passed through holes in the brackets and splicing plates. Specification 519,406 is referred to.
