[Class 44] [Also in Group X] A clip-plate for holding building boards against the flanges of a Tee-section lath having a widened head e.g. of dovetail section as shown in Fig. 2, comprises a metal plate b with a notch c having a contracted mouth and adapted to be slid along the head of the web of the lath, a tongue d being provided to bear on the crown of the web of the lath. In a modification as shown in Fig. 8, the upper edge of the plate is bent over to form a tongue i which bears on the crown of the web of the lath and in a further modification both the tongues i and d are provided.
