Class 20 (4) In order that metallic sheet roofing may be used with glazing bars comprising a web and a lateral flange, the edges of the metal sheets 100 are reverted as at 102 or 113 and the clamping member 11, Fig. 1, provided to hold the sheets in position engages behind the reverted flange. In the form shown in Fig. 2 the reverted flanges of the sheets engage the upstanding ribs 10 of the lateral flanges of the base, the sheets being held by wedges 114 or the like driven through the web of the bar. In both forms inadvertent withdrawal of the edges of the sheets away from webs of the bar is prevented. Specification 608,079 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
