604,487. Walls, roofs and ceilings. HAY, H. M. Nov. 26, 1945, No. 31815. [Class 20(iv)] The adjoining margins of two laterally adjoining boards b, c in different planes are supported by a metal lath a having an L-section or a portion of L-section the margin of one board resting against the laterally projecting limb of the L-section, and the other resting over the stem, the lath being supported or secured at intervals. The laths are connected to the flanges of the bearers by bolts passing through the flanges, or through clip plates overlapping the flanges or by notched and shaped sheet metal hangers i. Modifications include laths of S- or part S-section, with a board margin carried on each of the two lower horizontal portions, and various hangers to connect these laths to the bearers. Between the bearers the boards and lath are connected together by bolts, or by shaped S-section clips j, Fig. 6.
