Abstract

1,271,525. Structural beams. G. GUELE. 12 May, 1969, No. 24104/69. Heading E1K. A beam of I-section comprises box sections 1, 3 connected by a web 11, one section 3 having a longitudinal through slot 4, the other section 1 having a channel 2. The beam is bent from sheet material. Channel 2 accommodates dovetail elements (16, Figs. 3 and 4, not shown) attached to a purlin (14) slot 4 locates a panel edge (7, Fig. 5, not shown). Alternatively a plate (8, Fig. 7, not shown) rests on ribs 10 and carries a ceiling element (9)
