549,766. Unit air heaters. INTERTHERM AKT.-GES. FABRIK FUR ELEKTRISCHE APPARATE, and PFANDLER, A. Jan. 19, 1942, No. 740. [Class 137] A perforated cylindrical casing a encloses an electric heating element 8 of cylindrical form and a fan e driven by a spring mounted motor 1 accelerates the air flow due to convection which enters at the lower end of the casing, passes up through the heating element, and is deflected outwards and downwards by a curve cover c. Dust is collected in a lower cover b. The motor is mounted on springs f, and the lower end 3 of its vertical shaft is concave and rests on a ball 2 supported on an adjustable thrust piece 5. A handle 12 by which the apparatus may be lifted serves also as a switch for controlling the heating resistance.
