Class 110(i) [Also in Group XI] An electric air heater comprises a cylindrical casing 4 adjustably mounted on a base 1, an electric motor 18 mounted in the casing 4 with its shaft 9 coaxially arranged therewith, a combined reflector and fan member 12 on the shaft and having a central, polished, heat-reflecting part 15 with peripheral blades 16, an electric heating element 7, 8 arranged opposite the member 12 at the side remote from the motor 18, and a guard 5 on the casing 4 supporting the heating element 7, 8. The member 12, which is of aluminium or copper coated with lacquer, has a central hub-forming part 14, the intermediate, parabolic part 15, and a narrow, peripheral portion cut and bent to form the blades 16. A rear guard 6 is provided, air passing from the rear 6 to the front 5 of the casing 4.
