[Class 95] [Also in Group XVI] In a rotary duplicating machine, the impression roller 23 is arranged below the cylinder 12 carrying the minor script master sheet and the sheets to be printed are moistened on their upper surface by being pressed against a pad 21 by a bar or roller 20 which is depressed automatically once during each revolution of the cylinder 12 to provide a passage for the sheet from the feed table 38 to the line of the roller 23 and cylinder 12. The bar 20 is carried by levers 18 pivoted at 19 to the side frames of the machine and is depressed against the action of springs 22 by cams 17 on the end of the cylinder 12. The pad is supplied with liquid by one or more wicks 26 passing from a liquid in a container 25 over a dividing wall 27 on the edge of which it may be pressed to regulate the flow of liquid by a bar 28 adjustable by screws 29. The front edge of the feed table 38 is inclined upwardly to direct the sheets to the pad. The container 25 is provided with side flanges engaging grooves 39 in the side plates of the machine, a set screw being provided to lock the container in proper position relatively to the bar 20.
