Abstract

483,379. Duplicating-machines. FORD, F. R. Oct. 14, 1936, No. 27833. [Classes 100 (i) and 100 (ii)] Copying documents ; delivery apparatus.- A rotary duplicating-machine comprising an impression roller 8 co-operating with a printing- cylinder 3 carrying a mirror-script master sheet 5 is provided with a guide extending around the back of and beneath the cylinder and spaced away therefrom so that the printed sheets are directed first downwardly and then forwardly, being thus delivered from the machine face upwards. The guide may be in two parts 13, 14 attached to a cross-bar 12, the part 13 being hinged at 16 to provide access to the machine and normally resting against a stop 17. Cross-members 19 situated close to the surface of the cylinder 3 prevent the free end of the master sheet from obstructing the passage of the copy sheets between the cylinder and the guide.
