[Classes 100 (i) and 100 (ii)] An apparatus for feeding a sheet in steps to a printing apparatus, and particularly for feeding a listing strip in an addressing machine, comprises a clamp to engage the sheet, a strip, provided with a series of abutments, removably attached to the clamps so that strips with differently spaced abutments may be used, and means acting on the successive abutments to feed the strip and thereby the clamp and sheet. The construction described is identical with that described in Specification 528,273. Specification 470,291 also is referred to.
