Abstract

544,704. Electric battery lamps BAGNASCO, A. Jan. 22, 1940, No. 1323. [Class 39 (ii)] A battery lamp provides a light in front from the bulb 27 and a light below from a lower bulb, the circuits being controlled by a fourposition rotary switch consisting of a rotary stem carrying a contact member on its inner square end connected with one pole of a battery and co-operating with spring blades 23, 24 in connection with the respective lamps. The switch provides for switching on either of the lamps and for two off positions. The lower lamp may be shrouded by one or other of two coloured cylindrical screens which may be lowered by pushing down one or other of the guided rods 5, 6. The circuits of the lamp may include a morse key for signalling.
