Abstract

535,083. Electric switches. SULLAM, S. D. Oct. 23, 1939, No. 28466. [Class 38 (v)] A switch, e.g. of the domestic type, is fitted with a step-down transformer and low-voltage pilot lamp in such a way that the transformer and pilot lamp are energized when the switch is open, but are cut out when the switch is closed. Fig. 2 shows a plug switch casing 1 in which one side of the primary of the transformer 4 is connected through one pole of the mains to one of the plug sockets 3, and the other side is connected to one pole of a double pole switch 2 the other pole of which is connected to the other plug socket 3, and the arm of which is connected to the other pole of the mains. The pilot lamp 5 is in the transformer secondary circuit.
