Abstract

536,657. Battery lamps. GRIS. H. J. L. JEANNERET-. Dec. 23, 1939, No. 32830. [Class 39 (ii)] In a torch lamp one contact 2 of the battery is used to retain the lamp in position in its holder by engaging the screw contact thereof, and the other, 3, is arranged to be operated as a switch, being brought into contact with the other lamp terminal by direct manual pressure, by actuation of a bell crank lever 6, or by a slidable element. Fig. 2, shows one example.
