[Class 120 (iii)] The yarn at the conical part of a pirn, cop, cone, or like package is prevented from unravelling by a flat ring a of paper, stiffened fabric, or like relatively soft yielding fibrous material which is threaded over the yarn and wedged thereon so that its inner part becomes distorted and grips the yarn and is thus prevented from accidental displacement.
