Thread-guides; snarl and end catchers.-A thread-guide of the type having a spiral eye, and a notched leg extending from the eye for catching the thread when snarling or ballooning, has two or more notches formed in the leg to ensure the catching of the thread. As shown in Fig. 1, two notches c, c' are formed in the side of the leg; in Fig. 5, one notch c is shown in the side and the other c<1> in the back at a different level; in Fig. 6, the two notches are at the same level.
