Abstract

28,095. Oxley, T. D., and Oxley, W. Dec. 14. Bobbins.-A bobbin is provided with three flanges b<1>, b<2>, b<3>, making two winding spaces for separate lengths or kinds of sewing-cotton, sewing-silk, or the like. The flanges are shallower than usual so that the bobbin holds about the same amount of thread as an ordinary bobbin, and the end flanges are provided with the usual thread-holding slits. According to the Provisional Specification, more than two thread-holding spaces may be provided, and the intermediate flanges may be separate from the bobbin and adjustable. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 14,128/95 and 11,441/06.
