Tension arrangements.-A yarn - tensioning device for spinning, doubling, winding, and like frames comprises a screw f moulded from earthenware, glass, &c., and provided with two flanges f<1>, f<2>, of which the inner is grooved at f<3> to provide a passage for the yarn, which is led around one or more threads of the screw, according to the tension desired. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that the outer flange or both flanges may be dispensed with.
