[Class 120 (iii)] A pin or cop tube a has a tapered base which terminates short of the bottom of the tube, so leaving a part b of less diameter than the base of the taper extending to the bottom of the tube, which carries yarn to complete the stroke of the shuttle after the stop motion has been actuated. The base of the taper may merge into the part b to facilitate withdrawal of the yarn. The tube is of paper or similar material.
