[Class 20 (iv)] A unitary beam or girder is composed of a series of complementary solid or hollow blocks a, a, placed end to end, and, at any desired distance apart. Projections b, c, f, are formed to act as keys for concrete d which is filled in to provide a monolithic remforcing member of T- cross section. Reinforcing rods g, and clips h may be provided, and further rods may be embedded in the concrete extending transversely across the upper walls of the blocks. The beams or girders may be assembled to form a floor.
