[Class 74 (ii)] Relates to a method of knitting an elastic stocking top to simulate a rib top. Elastic yarn is fed to spaced needles and non-elastic yarn to all needles. The non-elastic yarn is tucked for several courses near the top edge. Specifications 528,673 and 563,948 are referred to.
