[Class 137] An air passage 3 is formed between the roof 2 of a motor vehicle and a foraminous lining 7 which may be metal gauze, the air entering due to the motion of the vehicle through a front inlet 4 and escaping through an outlet 6 at the rear, the air current drawing foul air from the interior. The roof is provided with a glazed opening 8 for admitting light to the interior and a cooler 10 (or heater) may be interposed in the path of the air current.
