Abstract

563,254. Ventilating vehicles. PRICE, A. Feb. 6, 1943, No. 1994. [Class 137] Air is withdrawn from the interior of vehicles through one or more tubes 1 which extend along the roof and terminate at the back of the vehicle. The tubes may have enlarged ends 2 at the front and are provided with connections 3' opening into the passenger space, and a connection over the wind-screen condensation on which is thereby prevented. The connections may comprise pyramidal members 4 disposed around openings 5 in the tubes and having slots 6 controlled by a slide 7. Above each opening is a deflector of transversely fluted cross-section.
