Convention date, May 3, 1938 [Class 87 (ii)] For varying the inclination in the horizontal plane of one or more of the rollers 1, Fig. 1, of a calendering machine, the bearing brackets 3, Fig. 3, of the supporting pins 2 are provided with spherical surfaces which engage correspondingly shaped surfaces on the outer bearing members 4, and pairs of vertically displaceable wedgeshaped elements 5, with vertical inner and inclined outer surfaces, guided in grooves in the bearing members 4, are adjustable by screw spindles 6 driven by worm wheels 7 and worms, rotation of the common axle 9 moving the wedges in the appropriate opposite directions. Independent height adjustment means of usual type are provided.
