429,120. Drawing-rollers for preparing and spinning machines. MEYNELL,H., Perseverance Works, Accrington, Lancashire. Dec. 30, 1933, No. 36675. [Class 120 (ii)] A top roller, such as described in Specification 350,872, comprises warped, dished, or distorted circular discs 3 freely mounted on an arbor between stops so that they operate in a resilient manner without the need of spring endmountings, and are free to accommodate themselves transversely and axially of the arbor, and also to be capable of rotation relatively thereto and of disposition inclined to the axis. By cutting the discs to a thickness of 16 of an inch a suitable warped condition is attained.
