490,895. Roller clearers for spinning-machines. SCHILHANEK, J. Jan. 7, 1938, No. 501. Convention date, Jan. 15, 1937. [Class 120 (ii)] The supporting spring 10 of the underclearer roller of spinning-machines is adjustably mounted in a vertical position in a support 12 so that it may be moved into a rear position shown in dotted lines in which it is retained whereby removal for cleaning is facilitated. The support may comprise a resilient limb 11 engaging a non-circular supporting bar 14 or a circular bar with snap pins, or may engage shaped bearing eyes in a support 15, as shown in Fig. 2, in order that it may be retained in the two positions.
