Abstract

206,551. Mitchell, W., and Foster, H. H. July 5, 1922. Thread guides.-In thread guides for twisting- frames wherein pot eyes are secured in their holders by resilient means, the pot eyes are provided with a projection 9 to engage a hole or one or the other of two holes in a spring-pressed plate 6, so as to maintain them in position and to provide means whereby they may be adjusted when worn. The projection may be formed on the plate and the holes formed in the pot eye. The plate 6 is fixed to a spindle 12 mounted in a hole in the holder, or, as shown, in a slot 13 under the action of a spring 14, and is provided with a tail-piece 16 secured by a set-screw to a block 18 slidable in the slot.
