501,883. Rubber calenders. GLEISSNER, P. June 21, 1938, No. 18413. [Class 70] A sheet-rubber calendering-machine has, on both rollers, eccentric bearing sleeves or rings 15 between the roller trunnions 6 and the bearings 18, or has eccentrically bored bearings, so that the rollers may be adjusted by means of worm 21 to be inclined to one another. Such an adjustment obviates the necessity for grinding the rollers to have a cambered surface. A bearing bush or antifriction bearing 29 may be provided between trunnion 6 and ring 15.
