[Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXXV] Operation of push-button 14 brings the boosting secondary 3 of a transformer progressively into circuit by means of an arm 7 but ultimately breaks the circuit at a position 10. A series overload relax 8 when operated withdraws its armature which serves as a stop pin normally limiting the biassed movement of the switch 7 and thus allows the circuit to be broken at that switch, Fig. 2, (not shown).
