[Class 68 (ii)] In a method of forming concrete piles in which a precast pile 1 is lowered into a cavity already formed in the ground and in which grouting 33 is poured into the space around the pile, a rigid ring 30, which may be of wedge-shaped cross section is driven into the space between the pile and the wall of the cavity to hold the grout in position until it has set.
