520,456. Vehicle wheels. AMBROSETTI, E., [trading as AMBROSETTI, SUCCESSORE A PORETTI and AMBROSETTI, E.]. Oct. 31, 1938, No. '31424. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 31, 1939] [Class 144 (i)] A sheet metal wheel comprises a pair of discs 1 stamped out to produce half-spoke elements Is the edges of which are connected by frames 7, the discs being connected by rivets 4 passed through spacer-sleeves 2a, b, c. The outer set of rivets also secure a pair of angle-rings 3 bridged by a riveted-on ring 5 to which the tyrecarrying rim 6 is welded. At the wheel centre, the discs are reinforced by rings 8, 8<SP>1</SP> secured by bolts 11 and spacers 2d, these bolts also serving to clamp a hub-cap 12 and to secure the wheel to brake-drum 10. The latter is secured to the permanent hub 9 by an inner set of bolts 14.
