288,325. Bendix Brake Co., (Assignees of Laddon, I. M., Ring, W. A., and Herman, F. W.). April 6, 1927, [Convention date]. Disc wheels. - The edges of the spaced wheel discs 12, 14 and rim 10 are rolled together about reinforcing rings 16, the joints being consolidated by spot-welding or by means of rivets 20. The rings 16 may be of oval section, and the arrangement of the lapped edges of the rim and discs may be varied. The wheel may be formed of duralumin, and is stated to be for use on heavy aeroplanes.
