Abstract

518,832. Gas burners. MAIN, Ltd., R. & A., and TAYLOR, R. Sept. 5,. 1938, No. 25971. [Class 75 (i)] A gas injector comprises a nozzle .18, screwed into the end of the body 12, and a hollow axially slidable inner member 19 having a perforated tapered end 20 co-operating with the nozzle 18 to provide an adjustable annular outlet around the outlet 23, the member 19 being adjusted by means of a rotatable plug 31 provided with an eccentric pin 30 engaging a circumferential slot 29. The diameter of the outlet 25 of the nozzle 18 may be equal to, or slightly less than, that of the extremity of the tapered end so that the annular outlet may be closed. As shown, the body 12 is integral with a gas cock casing 10.
