Abstract

Atmospheric gas burners.- A gas nipple 1 having outlet orifices 2 arranged in radial clusters is provided with a rotatable regulating-cap 3 having an aperture 5 in the end wall 4, which is adapted to be secured in adjusted position close against the end of the nipple by the adjustment of a ring 8. screwed on the nipple 1 and provided with a flange 7 for engaging a flange 6 on the inner end of the cap 3. A screw 10 projecting radially through a ring 9, screwed on the cap 3, may be screwed against the latter and held by the fingers, during the adjustment of the ring 8, to prevent rotation of the cap. The nipple may be provided with a number of uncontrolled orifices 11.
