Spray burners; flame-spreaders.-A curved or conical flame-spreader 5 is adjustably supported by a tripod 7 on a threaded head or nut 3 securing a flanged burner nozzle 1 to the body 4 of a liquid-fuel burner. A nut 8 locks the spreader spindle 5<x> in position when adjusted. A ported washer 12 is arranged between the nozzle flange 10 and the body 4.
