Abstract

518,029. High water alarms. LEIGH; G. D. and LIEBERMAN, E. Sept. 2, 1938, No. 25701. [Class 123 (i)] A high water alarm suitable for a bath comprises a. casing divided into three compartments containing respectively an electric bell or buzzer A and battery B, a switch C, and a float G. The lower compartment is open so that when the rising water reaches the float, the switch C is closed by rod D and the alarm sounded. A spring F returns the float when the water level falls. The device may be mounted at the desired position by a rubber sucker or adjustable hooks.
