510,917. Condensers. DUBILIER CONDENSER CO. (1925), Ltd., and MOORE, N. C. May 25, 1938, No. 15643. [Class 37] A condenser of stack form is clamped by means of at least one rivet B or eyelet between a shoulder B<1> on the rivet and one end, the other end serving to hold a cover plate F over the otherwise exposed metallic surface of one electrode A. Prior to securing the cover plate the capacity of the assembled condenser may be adjusted by removal of a part of the surface of this exposed electrode. Preferably the electrodes A<1>, A<2> are metallized deposits on mica sheets A. To facilitate connection with the electrodes foil strips C may be interposed and clamped between a cover plate D and the rivet heads as shown.
