[Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv)] A tubular-frame seat has a detachable upholstered back D secured by attachment devices E, F on the side and top edges having concave seats shaped to spring over and engage with the side members and top rail of the tubular back frame. The top rail G may be detachably secured to one of the side members by means of split spigot G<1> expanded within a socket B' by a screw J. The seats E, F are trough shaped and may be secured directly to the back or may be mounted on leaf springs. Brackets C' support the back. Specification 464,355 is referred to.
