[Class 12 (i)] A ball or roller bearing b is retained in a bore e in the hub of a pulley a, or wheel, by the heads of rivets d inserted in holes in the hub. Alternatively the bearing may be retained in the bore e by washers threaded on to the rivets, or the bore may have a shoulder at one end, the heads of the rivets retaining the bearing at the other end.
