[Class 36] A cable comprises one or more conductors insulated with siliceous material dried at a temperature of 350-600‹ C. and enclosed in a sheath of aluminium or an alloy in which aluminium predominates. Asbestos may be applied as a roving and impregnated with sodium silicate solution. The sheath may be applied by extrusion.
