[Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Group IV] Means for automatically guiding threads or filaments in a given spacing, in which the thread is either passed over a pair of conical, cylindrical, or stepped feeding rollers, with their axes askew, with or without the addition of an inclined guide bar disposed between them, or is passed over a pair of such rollers on parallel axes, and over a guide bar, inclined to the axes, is provided with rollers having peripheral grooves of V-shape, or semi-circular crosssection, arranged in parallel planes at rightangles to the roller axes. The grooves may be disposed in groups separated by plane surfaces of revolution ; and the rollers may be of uniform diameter, or they may be conical or stepped.
