Class 120(2) A thread guide for preventing twist running along a thread in a twisting machine, comprises two rods 2, 3, which are spaced apart and set at a sufficiently large angle to each other to prevent a yarn 4 looped successively round the rods from traversing along either bar. The rods are preferably set at right angles, mounted on a common support and made of mechanically polished machined alumina.
