Abstract
506,478. Condensers. AEROVOX CORPORATION. Aug. 24, 1938, No. 24894. Convention date, April 7. [Class 37] A rolled condenser, with foil electrodes and spacers between, is wrapped with a sheet of insulation 14 and the two foils 10, 11 are secured electrically to rivets 18 passing through the sheet and securing outside conductor leads 19. The rivets may be spaced across the windings as shown, in which case the foils are bent over or cut to shape so as to give a clearance for each terminal. In a modification, the rivets are spaced along the windings and one foil extends beyond the other to make the requisite clearance.
