Abstract
275,938. Flewelling, E. T. Aug. 10, 1926. Condensers.-A multiple conductor 10, Fig. 1, particularly adapted for connecting the component parts of wireless receivers, is built up of a number of metallic strips 1 - - 5, Fig. 2, with interposed leaves 6 and a surround of insulating material. Connecting tabs 7 project from one or both sides of each metal strip and are relatively staggered as shown. Each conductor strip is formed with central perforations 8, Fig. 5, to facilitate assembly. In some cases the marginal tabs 7, Fig. 7, may be bent round into alignment with a central perforation in order to make a neat connection. The grouped conductor possesses sufficient capacity to form a by-pass condenser across the batteries, low-frequency transformers &c. of a wireless receiver, when the corresponding conductive leads are adjacent to each other. In Fig. 11 two of the metallic conductors 4, 5 are interleaved in order to increase the capacity effect between them.
