504,885. Closures for collapsable tubes &c. HILLEBRAND, E. Aug. 24, 1938, No. 24949. [Class 125 (iii)] In a closure of the selfclosing type for collapsable tubes &c. the pin 3 which closes the discharge aperture 2 in the sliding cap 1, is mounted on a crosspiece 5 in the lower part of the nozzle 6. The spring 4 which returns the cap to the closed position when pressure on the walls of the tube 'is relaxed, engages with tongues 8 extending downwardly from the cap ; and in order to retain the cap in the closed position, the tongues are notched so as on rotation of the cap to engage the crosspiece. Specification 232,621, [Class 125 (iii)], is referred to.
