505,272. Closures for collapsable tubes. SCHNURRENBERGER, E. Aug. 3, 1937, No. 21355. Void. Convention date, July 31, 1936. [Glass 125 (iii)] A closure for a collapsable tube comprises a member b having a lateral orifice f and a central bore h, and a rotatable cap c which fits over the member b and is furnished with a plug g fitting the central bore and shaped as shown at its lower end so as to open or close the orifice f according to the position of the plug; the cap is also provided with a lateral opening i, the disposition of the parts being such that when the plug g permits delivery of material from the tube, the opening in the cap uncovers the discharge orifice. The member b is recessed at the points adjacent the orifice f. The closure may be integral with the tube or may be screwed or otherwise attached thereto.
